Together with the Citizens’ Alliance National Executive, Dr. Ismaila Ceesay, the party’s flag bearer, paid a courtesy call on The Leader of the United Democratic Party, Honorable Ousainou Darboe.

‘The party leader and Secretary General welcomed Dr. Ismaila Ceesay, flag bearer of Citizens Alliance with his delegation at his office today where they discussed a range of  National issues.’ Says the UDP spokesperson.

‘The United Democratic Party believes in politics of respect and mutual understanding that we might differ in thought but the progress of The Gambia is what’s important,’ he concluded.

The call is part of CA’s ongoing visit to all political party leaders to promote peaceful coexistence and reconciliation, foster unity, and pave the way for peaceful elections.

‘As political leaders, we want to demonstrate that what binds us as Gambians is more vital than that which divides us. We all want to see and are working towards building a better Gambia.’ Says Dr. Ceesay.

‘The CA’s delegation was warmly welcomed and we express our appreciation for the reception.’ Ceesay added.
