The Gambian football legend, Alhaji Modou Njie (Biri Biri), will be honored at a Royal Dinner to be held in Ziguinchor, Senegal on Saturday 27th February, 2021.
The dinner, organized by the Djibonket Foundation under the leadership of Binta Goudiaby, will also honor some Senegalese footballers and the late Gambian legend as a mark of celebration for their lives in football. Binta Goudiaby is a film actress based in the United States of America.
The event will take place at the Complexe Hotelier Kabekel de Oussouye, Casamance. The President of The Gambia Football Federation has assigned the Third Vice President Rtd. General Langtombong Tamba; Executive Committee Member Alhaji Ebrima Faye and the Director of Marketing and Communications to represent the Federation at the event in Ziguinchor.
The GFF delegation will travel with three members of the Biri Biri family to the event.
Biri, who represented Gambia at National Team level as well as Wallidan Football Club and Sevilla FC of Spain died late last year following a long illness.
