This approach by the (EU EOM) indicates that QTV which is the first private TV station, to be registered after the dictatorial region of former President Yahya Jammeh has given more electoral coverage priority to the National People`s Party headed by the incumbent Adama Barrow with ninety two percent of coverage during the process .

Monitored media outlets were four (4) TV stations which include, GRTS given 31% airtime to UDP, 16% to PDOIS, 12% to NUP, 21% to NPP, 8% to Independent Essa Faal and 12%  to GDC. QTV gives 92% of coverage to the NPP and gives less than two percent coverage to other parties.

Meanwhile Eye Africa TV gives 13% Airtime to the UDP, 24% to PDOIS, 6% to NUP, 40% to NPP, 8% to Independent Essa Faal and 99% to the GDC. Paradise TV gives 15% percent coverage to the UDP, 15% percent to the PDOIS, 7% to NUP, 37% to the NPP, 16% airtime to Independent Essa Faal and 11% to the GDC.

Six (6) radio stations monitored on the distribution of airtime in percentage allocated to each electoral contestant by each radio station  includes, GRTS radio given 18% radio airtime to the UDP, 16% to the PDOIS, 15% to NUP,18% to NPP, 16% to independent Essa Faal and 16% airtime to the GDC party.

King FM gives 23% airtime to the UDP, 7% to the PDOIS, 15% to the NUP, 36% to the NPP, 7% to Independent Essa Faal and 12% to the GDC. QRADIO gives 13% airtime to the UDP, 13% to the PDOIS, 13% to NUP, 34% to NPP, 13% to the independent Essa Faal and 14% for the GDC party.

Furthermore, Star Radio gives 18% airtime to the UDP, 53% to the NPP, 5% to the independent Essa Faal and 17% for the GDC Party. Taranga FM provides 45% airtime to the UDP, 27% to the NPP, 12% to the Independent Essa Faal, and 8% to the GDC. West Coast Radio provides 24% to the UDP, 44%  to the NPP, 7% to the Independent Essa Faal and 14% to the GDC Party
