Abdoulie Bojang APRC/GDC endorsed parliamentary candidate on Saturday promised to organize training and build the capacity of women in his constituency Foni Kansala if given the chance by his constituency.

In an interview with this medium after filing his nomination documents to the Independent electoral commission regional headquarters in Brikama said “Women kafoos will be trained on business and financial management that is one thing the women will benefit in Foni Kansala and Foni at large , they have toiled to make sure we are educated, we live a comfortable life , its high time we start to think about how to capacitate them , help train and up skill them for them meaningfully and sustainably manage their businesses and have a sound management system”

Bojang added that , women play a crucial role in society and their contribution should be recognized and cherished especially their role in politics.

He stressed that, people of Foni especially youth will under go skills acquisition also good management strategy will be put in place inorder to efficiently manage the resource acquired in the constituency.

“Am going down to my people to equip them with skills especially when you come to women gardening , am thinking of having a borehole drilling machine for Kansala to boast agricultural productivity.

Mr Bojang added that, Foni is blessed with salt as a natural resources which can be processed for income generation .

While explaining how he will organize training and capacities women Bojang said there are projects from the gardens and they need to create channels like markets for them so that they are able to get these products from the garden on to the market for the right paths.Meanwhile Bojang said they also have district ambulatory services go look at our hospitals bwiam general hospitals or sulayman junking hospital is not Intensive Care Unit capacitated capable hospital as people are dying just because they cannot survive a fifteen minutes to go to Banjul to me that is wrong.

In his strongest voice “if government cannot do it then Kansala will mobilize resources to do it and make sure bwiam is intensive care unit capable hospital so that our women on labor and people who are actually suffering and whose lives could be saved will not die as we will have high proper medical intervention within 15 to 30 minutes of whatever suffering or accident they involved this is also good for women because the bulk of the pain are beard by them to me that is unbearable”
