The two Gambian nationals that together defeated Gabon a week ago in Banjul to go top of their AFCON qualifiers group faceoff once again in the Italian Seria A; this time around in opposite teams trying to secure all three points for their respective sides. Barrow was playing for Bologna while Omar Colley alias OJ stars for Sampdoria. 

Sampdoria opened the scoring in the 7th minute courtesy of Thorsby after a wonderful assist by Candreva with Bologna equalizing in the strike of half time to level the score line. Bologna scored in the 52nd minute after Musa Barrow assisted to secure all three points. The win lifts Bologna to twelve position with 9 points; one behind Sampdoria who are standing 10 position in the Seria A.
