The community of Kiang Katantaba in the Lower River Region of The Gambia recently commissioned a water system in the community of karantaba  (LRR) this community is the  latest to benefit from the benevolent gesture of Sirremang foundation which is a non profitable  foundation established to deliver social services to deprived communities.

The water system has been constructed at a cost of D180, 000 with funding from supporters Yeliz Ceylan and RS driving school base in Hannover in Germany through the Sirremang Foundation, the community of Kiang karantaba through the Village Development Committee (VDC) member Omar Jarjue has expressed delight for the provision of this most needed support of a water system, he added that this intervention  is timely as the community has been struggling to get quality drinkable water , a dream which finally come true. He assured the sponsors through Sirremang Foundation of great care to be accorded to the project to ensure durability.

In his remarks, the Secretary of the organisation on behalf of the Chairperson Omar Kambi, advised the beneficiary community to treat the project with care in order to serve the purpose for which it has been drilled for.
