With heavy hearts we regret to announce the sudden death of Mr. Ebou Waggeh, a veteran Gambian journalist/broadcaster who passed away on  Monday 26 October 2020 following a brief illness.

Mr. Waggeh was among the pioneers of Gambia Radio and Television Services (GRTS) where he worked as a video editor before starting his own multi-media consultancy and film  production company called WAX media.

Until his unexpected demised, Mr. Waggeh was working as the director of video and documentary at the famous Truth Reconciliation and Reparation commission. He equally served as Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Award Judge.

Our deepest condolences to his family, friends and the entire media fraternity. May his soul Rest In Peace.
