Siramang foundation for development is a charitable organisation established to provide support in health, education , sports, agriculture and other important areas of national development also provides support to the needy people within communities in The Gambia.

As part of their efforts to help needy people, the charity foundation yesterday provided about 35 bags of rice worth of D35,000 distributed to the community of Brikama Kembujeh at a ceremony held at the community mosque. The charity was able to provide this humanitarian gesture through the friends of the charity who raised funds to ensure smile is put in the face of the fasting community of Kembujeh Madina, the  fund was  raised by some Turkish national based in Germany , they are Dilek Ceylan, Yeliz Ceylan, Given, Gamze, Sabastijan, Fikret, Sukriye Ertak and Ekrem.

Speaking at the presentation, Sulayman Saidy, the secretary to Sirimang foundation, on behalf of the CEO Omar Kambi who is also base in Germany Honnover, gave an overview of the organisation’s objectives , mentioned that , last year they provided  the Ramadan support to the community of London Corner but the charity decided to shift focus to Brikama this year for the same purpose which is to ensure needy people are helped .

The Alkalo of the community, Ba Malick Jatta, extended gratitude to the supporters and assured them of their  continuous prayers and  further urged the charity to support them and address  some challenges which affect their community mosques such as mats and tiles and any other area to improve the current  condition of the mosque.

Salim Darboe, a community elder, urges the beneficiaries to continue praying for the continuous success of the charity.

The occasion was attended by the elders of the  community of Kembujeh Madina and some key position holders in the Simarang Foundation for Development.
