The Gambia Action Party (GAP) has added its voice to the call for global action aimed at ending the atrocity Palestinians suffered in the hands of Israel in the middle east region.

Israel’s attack on the Palestinians and Jerusalem is totally unacceptable and caused terror not only to the Muslim community but to our collective conscience as human beings. 

The Gambia Action Party led government is committed to international peace and stability and will do our utmost best to promote and activate peace talks amongst the nations that has conflict history. We aspire to contribute immensely to the peaceful atmosphere among the nations of the world through collaborative discussions and engagements with member states of the United Nations.

We call on the United Nations security council to ensure restoration of peace and protection of the lives and properties of the Palestinians, as well as render medical services during this horrific situation surrounding mankind. We urge the United Nations to respect and uphold the values and principles on which the UN is formed and adhere to convention on protection of the fundamental human rights.

The world leaders should prioritize quarterly security measures conference and discuss on the conflicts and its related challenges posed to mankind and provide sufficient resolutions. We are calling on the government of The Gambia to spearhead this initiative and take position in the next United Nations General Assembly to ensure we live in the world free from terrorist attacks, illegal killings and violence against the people and vandalism to properties.
