The Citizens’ Alliance (CA) held its  2nd national congress on the 30th December 2022 at Paradise suits under the motto “Patriotism, Intergrity and CA hold 2nd  National congress,”

Speaking at the event the secretery general and party leader, Ismaila Ceesay said,”our knowledge, aim and objective will be given to president Adama Barrow until 2026” .

He added that , Oppositions and incumbent should be partners not to  be seen as enemies.

He futher stated that CA condems the attempted coup d’etate and  the  CA membership are willing and ready to work with the Barrow led Government  in order to provide basic education system, to contribute to innovative teaching and learning and provide acess to  reliable clean  water to every Gambian .

Alpha Mk Lowe the senior Administrative Officer buttressed on the challenges they face as a party  which include the following , limited Resources,Resource mobilization and many more.

Mr Lowe  talked about the successes registered within two years  period which he linked to promotion of political tolerance, voter registration and sensitization , capacity building and many more.

CA was registered 2 years ago  which beloved to have stood on the the following principles guiding principles : selflessness, intergrity, objectivity, Accountability, Transparency, Honesty,Leadership and Diligence. New executive members were nominated and approved by Delegates from various Regions.
