Recently, the country has been recording an outstanding number of Covid-19 cases. Unfortunately on Friday 24 July 2020, it claimed another life making him the sixth person to die  from the virus.

An overwhelming number of 46 new cases were registered on the same day, 17 of them are from the team of National Public Health Lab.

“One new death recorded, bringing to 6 the total number of COVID-19 related deaths reported – this represents a crude case fatality rate of 2.8%.

“Forty-six new cases registered – the highest reported in a single day – bringing to 216 the total number of COVID-19 cases ever confirmed in the country.” The ministry of health said in its situation report No. 105 on Friday.
