Banjul city council host a 5-day entrepreneurship training for 25 youth in Banjul, organised by National Enterprise Development Initiative(NEDI) and coordinated by the Banjul Youth Committee (BYC).
In her statement, Rohey Malick Lowe, the mayor of Banjul encouraged the youths to focus during the course of the training and urged them to put into practice all the lessons learned during the training inorder to startup or expand their businesses.
The event was also attended by the Minister of Youth and Sports- Mr Drammeh and the General Manager of National Enterprise Development Initiative.
Who thanked the organisers for empowering the young people of the City.
In another development, Amal Foundation handed over Banjul City Council under the leadership of Mayor Rohey Malick Lowe a certificate of appreciation for immensely contributing towards their last year’s National Quranic Recitation Competition which turnout to be very successful.
