Meanwhile Musa lost a chance to score in an empty net.

Furthermore, at 32nd minute John doubled the scoreline for GT-Bank, three minutes later another assist came from Muhammed Loum to Ebrima Marong, who wasted no time in hitting the net, the game ended GT-Bank 3-0 Central Bank.

Speaking to the Chairperson of the organising committee, Modou Joof he asserted that their expectation is to have a very good and memorable tournament. He added all banks are participating except Eco-Bank. To him the motive of this tournament is to bring unity amongst the bankers, he revealed that they are planning to have a female tournament.

“All the team managers are behind their team because they have invested a lot of money on it. I don’t want us to focus on who is going to win the money, so knowing each other is what is necessary. Let’s have fun and make peace,” Joof said. According to him, they want to have a healthy working sector and they want to take this tournament beyond borders. He called on all stakeholders in the finance sector to come on board because in the long-run they might invite the microfinance industry too.
