The Gambia has recorded 15 new cases of the novel coronavirus, summing up the total to 93 confirmed cases with 49 recoveries and 4 deaths and 39 active cases respectively.
This new 15 cases is the highest number reported in a single day, of these, 6 are nosocomial COVID-19 cases while the rest recently came into the country from locations with ongoing local transmission.
Case 079 to 091 reported to be Gambians are between the age of 7 months to 65.
Case 092 and 093 is a Senegalese and French age 7 months and 28 years respectively .
A total number of 19 persons were newly taken into quarantine with 20 already discharged. The country currently has 662 people in quarantine and 3 probable cases.
