As the  battle against Covid-19 intensifies, Gambia registers 44 novel cases of Covid-19 within 48 hours.

Yesterday, 20 cases of Covid-19 were recorded and over dozen cases were registered today as confirmed by the ministry of health.

“About 30% of the newly confirmed cases were at the send-off party hosted by an existing COVID-19 case (Case 93)”

665 people are currently in quarantine, 101 active cases and 13 probable cases.

This brings the total number of covid-19 cases to 170.
