The former DG of the defunct National Intelligence Agency now State Intelligence Service Harry Sambou has described ex-president Jammeh as “Egocentric, Myopic, Gluttonous and a Schizophrenic Sadist” while giving his testimony before the TRRC on 26th January 2020.  

Mr Sambou accused Jammeh for his self-exiled in Senegal and loss of some properties within the Gambian and craved the help of the commission in that regard.  

“I have some lands that I am still struggling to recover-there is one in Salagi that someone is developing and I hope the commission can help me to recover” said Mr Sambou whiles admitting that he was able to recover his garden forcefully taken away from him by Jammeh.  

The former Intelligence Chief who was appearing before the TRRC for the second time, confessed  that the NIA was indeed used by Jammeh as a torture chamber to terrorize innocent Gambians.
