Gambia registers five new Covid—19 cases.

The ministry of health on 11 April 2020, reports the confirmation of five new covid—19 cases in The Gambia.

Three of the new cases imported, and two transmitted locally.

Two of which came from UAE, whiles one of them from UK, and the other two who had had close contact with one of the four people diagnosed of the virus earlier.

Four of the carriers of the virus are believed to be in their 20s, and one in their 60s.

In this vein, we remind the general public to adhere to the directives given by the WHO to prevent the further spread of the coronavirus in the country.
