Dembo Jammeh, an eighteen year old Gambian on Tuesday 30 June 2020, was shot dead in the city of Madison by an unknown person. This tragic accident happened few weeks after graduating from high school.

The Madison police confirmed that they are, searching for the suspect who is on the run after the shooting.

“The police department’s officer-in-charge says the shooting happened around 8:30 p.m. outside of Red Roof Inn on Hayes Road.
Police are looking to speak with possible witnesses and they are reviewing nearby surveillance cameras to see if they can provide footage of what happened.” The Madison Police Department said.
