Kalilu Camara is an American based Gambian who recently made his intention known to contest in the presidential elections of the country. He is a real estate developer and a medical practitioner who promised to use his decade long American experience to develop this country to an enviable stage.

He told Kairaba News Network that he is likely to contest as an independent candidate should he be approached by other political parties for possible alliance if he is not identified as a their political goal scorer (flag bearer). He further described the political atmosphere of this country as characterized by meaningless arguments and tribalism, which he promised to use a different route than that.

The current government has misplaced priorities for the country which has sent many to poverty which he is willing to reposition if he is given the mantle of leadership .  He promised to rule with intelligence which will be flanked by unmatched love and compassion for the.

“I will bring sense and love the likes of which are unknown in the world ” he brags.
