Great Ambitious Muslimah for Education and Modesty (GAMFEM) on Wednesday 27th April,2022 distributed veils to 20 young girls.

The distribution was held at Tallinding, aiming to support young girls that face financial diffulties in embracing hijab.

Speaking at the event Bintou Conteh , the vice president of the Association said, these young girls should take hijab very serious as they have chosen modesty over immorality. She added that, they should not let people discourage  access to enter jannah is not easy. “Allah honored we the women that’s why he ask us to cover our body” she said.

Aminata Barrow Financial assistance of GAMFEM said,Hijab is obligatory on a Muslim woman  to  practice therefore , they should all endeavor towards it. “Hijab is very good for us because it protects us from different kinds of evil” she said.

Adding that Hijab is a form of respect so women should not leave their respect behind.

She advised the beneficiaries not to cover behind Ramadan to practice hijab  but should be a continuous practice and has to be influenced from the soul .

On behalf of the beneficiaries , Binta Jallow thanks the donors and prayed for the Association to continue their wonderful efforts in helping young girls in hijab. “we cannot pay you, there are some of us who wants to be a hijabi but couldn’t afford it , so you coming to our aid is something we appreciate” she added .

Fatoumatta samateh secretary of the association , thanks their beautiful donors and encourages them to keep helping in order to encourage  more women to hijab . She said these girls are the second badge who benefited from the veil supply and they promise to do  more intervention .

The Great Ambitious Muslimah for Education and Modesty (GAMFEM) in their efforts to promote Modesty also distribute copy of Quran, sanitary pads,under scarves and prayer “jilibabs “ to people .
