The Gambia Democratic Congress(GDC) under the leadership of honourable Mama Kandeh , a former  National Assembly Member  for Alliance Patriotic Reorientation and Construction (APRC) .

GDC was formed in 2016 with the ultimate aim of gaining control of the government through constitutional means.

It has celebrated its Six(6) years of existence in the political landscape of The Gambia today the 11th of May 2022.

“we have donated boreholes to different residents, renovated hospitals, building of foot bridges and awarding scholarship to students to carry on their education”. Said MC Cham

Elaborating on  the existence of the party and some of its achievements,MC Cham Junior stated that , despite the absence of GDC’s representation in the cabinet”GDC doesn’t have a National Assembly Member but the number of votes the party has,any GDC supporter standing, can be proud of that achievements , because we have almost 40,000 votes and let no one has different mindset that the party is not moving”.

Since the end of the National Assembly Member election held in On the 9th April , 2022 in which the party was unable to occupy a sit in the national assembly.

MC Cham Junior  encourages the militants of the party to keep supporting the party  irrespective of not having any sit at the parliament .
