University Faraba Campus, where he was taken on a conducted tour of the LOT 1 which is at 65%. Upon completion, the area will accommodate faculty of Education, Infromation and Technology, Engineering, Business and Public Administration as well as a virtual library and other facilities.

President Barrow expressed satisfaction with the progress of the work being done which according to the consultant will be completed in April 2021.

”There can be no development without education and we must decentralise education to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.” he told journalists

The head of state further asserted that the National Development Plan has it its core, the building of capacity in education which is central to the development of any country. He added that his government is committed to the completion of the entire project.
