The race to National Assembly is on a higher gear. Many people amongst wise, fools, current, and new aspirants showing there interest to preside over our decision in law making at the House of Parliament. I don’t want to waste time in defining The role of National Assembly member but will give a brief description of their responsibilities in making laws that will either empower the local people or empower the only incumbent .

Laws that are a reflection of how our people are governed, how education is tailored, how health sector is prioritized, how Agriculture is mechanized, how better infrastructures are designed, how corruption is mitigated, how social discipline is installed and instilled in the citizenry, how tribalism is eradicated, and how everyone can lived a fulfilled and dignified life.

Indeed we the younger generation and marginalized sector of the society need to be well represented but not by quantity instead quality. Sadly: pathologically, Gambia continued to experience leadership crises by having people in the citadel of decision making level with no idea, experience, and skill. Often most,
Mediocre at the higher national cadre
With no sincere
Anything we make
They tear
With no fear
We speak and he doesn’t hear
The White Kaftaan he wear

Lastly, vote for competence because that will remain the only trait to a meaningful reform in ushering The Gambia we want.
