The president of the Republic of Senegal, H.E Macky Sall, has offered 20,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccine produced by the Chinese laboratory Sinopharm to The Gambia and Guinea Bissau respectively as a show of solidarity in this unprecedented time.
Sall made this revelation via a virtual conference at the 20th edition of the International Economic Forum on Africa. “We have decided to make 10% of this vaccine available to two neighboring countries, or 20,000 doses for the Gambia and Guinea Bissau as a form of African solidarity.”
