Speaking at the event, Honorable Alhagie S Darbo, NAM Brikama North, who also doubles as the Senior Administration Secretary of the UDP thanked the community for fulfilling yet another obligation of the party saying this is inline with the Party’s manifesto as well as to stabilize the grass root politics.

NAM Darboe tasked the people to get their voter cards once the registration team arrives that is scheduled to the 20th June, while warning foreign nationals in the area to desist from falsely obtaining the Gambian documents as the voter registration exercise and election is meant for Gambians but not any foreigners.

He also called on the UDP supporters in the community to engage APRC to vote for the party rather than creating enmity. 

Honorable Alieu K Darboe, Councilor Kembujeh Ward, a native of Missira who was on emotions, said in the Mandinka dilate that Alning Bara, as the community has manifested their live and care for him, noting that I am today indebted to the community of Missira for their support.

Councilor Darboe further noted that anyone engaging into politics of insult should stop as the people of Missira are one big family, and politics should not avoid the very people who share a lot in common.
