GRATITUDE TO RAHMA GAMBIA LIMITED

Being cognizant of the adverse effects of Covid-19 on global economy and lives and livelihoods, the 18th Executive Council of the UTGSU is wary of the discontinuation of UTG students whose tuition fees depend on their families. It’s against this reality that the Council began to reach out to people of hope for financial support.

In no time, Mr. AlaSan Gent CeeSay, Founder and CEO of Rahma Gambia Ltd. responded with renewed hope. Our profound gratitude and appreciation to Mr. Alasan Gent Ceesay. Of all those we solicited support and financial assistance to pay tuition fees for certain underprivileged students, the owner and CEO of Rahma Gambia Ltd, Alasan Gent Ceesay is the first to come onboard in an astonishing fashion. He actually paid for 10 needy students with different amount and the minimum was D30,000.

On behalf of the beneficiaries and the entire UTG fraternity, the Students’ Union is largely indebted to you. This gesture is not only a show of your corporate social contribution but your true love and compassion for The Gambia. Thank you very much! We pray that your business flourishes beyond imagination.

Finally, while we applaud Mr. Ceesay for the timely intervention, we implore on other institutions and organisations, as well as private individuals to come to the aid of these needy Students who are at risk of deferment.
