Dr. Ahmadou Samateh, Gambia’s health minister, on Sunday 19 April 2020 announced the tenth confirmed covid—19 case in The Gambia.

Covid—19 is real, and highly contagious, the ministry urges the entire population to adhere to the precautions given by the WHO.
