ENTERPRISE LIFE ASSURANCE COMPANY: Donates D50,000.00 to the Basse Area Council Amid The Global Pandemic.

 

As part of the fight to combat the global pandemic, The Basse Area Council received D50,000.00 from the Enterprise Life Assurance Company branch in Upper River Region, on 21 April 2020, to help in the fight against Covid-19.

The Enterprise Life Assurance stated in their cooperative society policy that, Basse Area Council which is a local authority serving it’s people, and their clients, gives them the fortunate chance to take this huge step of giving back to the community.

The branch manager, Mr. Wopa Sanneh emphasized on the products of the enterprise, that guarantees the living of it’s clients, he described the cash as a huge amount which will go a long way in supporting the council.

Alhagie Bojang, the Customer Service Officer of ELAC in Basse, also indicated some of the efficient, and relevant operations carried out by the enterprise, while also thanking the council for being there for the people of URR, in this trying times.

Few days ago, the council launched it’s post covid-19 preparedness strategy, the ELAC so far has been the first company to enter in the hooves, to bring forth such a big gesture. The Chairman of Basse Area said, the performance of the council dropped immensely, due to the Covid-19, he acknowledged the donation made by ELAC as a big relieve, which will go a long way in supporting the council.

The CEO of Basse Area Council, also, described the donation as a timely gesture after recalling the recent, and current situation faced by the people of URR.

The Chairman thanked the enterprise for the great contribution, also calling on other eligible partners to imitate the steps of ELAC.
